How to use Editable Data Table

  1. Click any cell to start editing. Press Tab or Enter to move to the next cell.
  2. Click column headers to sort ascending or descending.
  3. Use the filter row below headers to narrow visible rows.
  4. Use toolbar buttons to add/delete rows and columns.
  5. Load a CSV file, paste tabular data, or export as CSV/JSON.

What is Editable Data Table?

This editable data table gives you a lightweight spreadsheet experience right in your browser. Click any cell to edit, use Tab/Enter to navigate, drag-select cells and see live sum/average in the status bar. Sort any column by clicking its header. Filter rows with per-column text filters. Add and delete rows and columns with toolbar buttons.

Paste tabular data directly from Excel, Google Sheets, or any TSV/CSV source. Export your work as CSV, JSON, or copy as TSV to paste elsewhere. All data stays in your browser.

FAQ

Can I paste data from Excel?
Yes. Click the Paste button (or Ctrl+V with the table focused) and paste your tab-delimited or comma-delimited data. It will auto-detect the format and populate the table.
How do I sort by a column?
Click the column header once to sort ascending (▲), click again for descending (▼). The sort is numeric-aware, so numbers sort by value, not alphabetically.
Can I rename column headers?
Yes. Click the header text directly and type to rename it.
Is my data saved?
No. This tool does not store any data. Everything lives in your browser's memory during the session. Export your data before closing the tab if you want to keep it.
