What is PDF Crop Margins?
This tool adjusts the CropBox on each page (it doesn't re-rasterize), so the trim is lossless. The original PDF content is intact; only the visible window changes. Most PDF viewers (Acrobat, Preview, browsers) honour CropBox, as do downstream tools like printing or further conversion.
FAQ
- Why are odd/even page options useful?
- Scanned books often have asymmetric margins (gutter inside vs trim outside). Applying different left/right trims per side cleans this up.
