CSV Studio

Drop a CSV file (or load 100-row demo data) and explore it like a power tool: filter rows, sort by multiple columns, bulk-update cells, visualise column distributions, and export to CSV / TSV / JSON / Excel / Markdown / HTML — all 100% in your browser.

How to use CSV Studio

  1. Click Import CSV or drag a .csv file onto the page (or click Demo Data for a 100-row sample).
  2. Use the sidebar tabs to pick an action: Filter, Sort, Bulk Update, Export or Visualise.
  3. Build filters / sort levels — the table preview updates live.
  4. Export the filtered view to CSV, JSON, Excel, Markdown or HTML.

What is CSV Studio?

CSV Studio bundles the most common spreadsheet operations into one focused workspace. Use Filter to narrow rows with combined conditions (equals, contains, regex, greater-than, empty, and more). Sort by one or many columns. Bulk Update applies find-and-replace, uppercase, trim or set-value transforms to whole columns at once. Visualise draws a bar chart of any column's top values. Export the filtered view to CSV, TSV, JSON, XLSX, Markdown or HTML.

Every operation runs locally in your browser — no upload, no server, no signup.

FAQ

How big a file can it handle?
Comfortable with 10,000-row files. The table preview caps at 500 rows for performance, but filter / sort / export still operate on the full dataset.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Every operation — parse, filter, sort, update, export — runs in your browser. The file never leaves your device.
Can I undo a Bulk Update?
Yes — the Undo button rolls back the last bulk update. We keep the most recent 10 snapshots in memory.
